(More customer reviews)Windows 7 had to be installed on an internal 2.5" sata drive, it will not install to a USB or eSata connected hard drive. Adata provided a nice 32GB SSD for that... on a unit like this it is totally cost effective to go with a small SSD for the OS and swapfile and apps. For data I connected an eSata 1.5TB unit which I had been running on my iMac. Runs like a champ.
